Summary: Great Player

Details: This is a really good player, with many updates. The skin engine is great, and when setup with the correct plugin you can not beat its sound quality. A built in media libary would be a good addition with a strong video section/plugins. Its stream saving, icon controler, system tray clicks and encoding/riping/conversion allow it to be a great audio player.

Pros: Audio Quality, Plugin Support (+ Winamp's input plugins), Outstanding Skin Engine

Details: I was looking for fast, clean but high quality media player. Quessential offers me everything that I need. It has a lot plugin for every purpose. With skin support, I can easily change the look. At last I found my media player

Details: This is a great player. I has all the features I need, either natively or through plug-ins. Great skins and great preferences interface. Sound quality is good IMO though newer default decoders would be a plus.

Cons: For some the lack of a medialibrary (I dont care for it though...)

Details: QCD is an excellent little player, looks great (skinnable), sounds great and is easy to use. Not only does it play my music it also plays my videos. Marked down on features due to lack of library and (this is really a non-essential) the ability to play DVD's so I could do away with all other media software altogether.

Details: The memory usage is just much lower than most of the other major media players. In addition, it has reasonable skinning, and everything just works. It also has plugin support, and also supports many winamp plugins too.

Pros: Low memory usage, good where it counts.

Cons: Relatively small amount of plugins available compared to others like winamp. Midi playback still kinda bugged.

Details: A very Descent free player, its one of the most stable music players you can find with extremely cool feature. It is easy to get skins for it with a built in skin browser which helps you find the appropriate skin. A nice graphical equilizer and its own encoder that is much better than Winamp's free encoder having a higher encoding and ripping speed. This player is truly a gem and only Sonique can give it competition
