Installation

1. Install Mozilla Firefox.
2. Install FoxyTunes.
   From Firefox, click the "Install" link in the right-side menu. This will start the auto install of the latest version of FoxyTunes.
3. A dialog window will appear asking if you want to install FoxyTunes. Click Install Now.
4. Restart Mozilla Firefox.

FoxyTunes extension should now be listed in Tools > Add-ons (or Tools > Extensions with Firefox versions prior to 2).

Linux and Mac OS users may have to restart Firefox at this stage to start using FoxyTunes.

1. Install FoxyTunes.
   Click the "Install" link in the right-side menu. This will start the auto install of the latest version of FoxyTunes.
2. A dialog window will appear asking if you want to install FoxyTunes. Click Install Now.
3. Restart Mozilla Firefox.
4. Windows users may see a "Complete update" dialog. If so:
   • Press OK in the dialog.
   • Restart Mozilla Firefox.

FoxyTunes extension should now be listed in Tools > Extensions.

1. Uninstall FoxyTunes.
   • Open the Extensions dialog - Tools > Extensions.
   • Choose FoxyTunes and press Uninstall.
   • Click OK in the Uninstall dialog.
2. Restart Mozilla Firefox.
3. Install the new version of FoxyTunes.

The installation is very similar to the Firefox installation. Please note that the Mozilla Suite doesn't have an Extension Manager.

You can uninstall FoxyTunes from the Mozilla Suite using the excellent ExtensionUninstaller.

For the Mozilla Suite version, it is recommended to uninstall FoxyTunes before installing a new version.

Sometimes the profile folder can become corrupted. In this case, the browser might become non functional, new extension might fail to install etc. Below are a few links that can help fix this situation.

• Find out where your profile folder is, create a new profile, copy your configuration files from your old profile folder to the new one and re-install your extensions.
